lol So sorry, I have been trying SO hard to finish up some frames I am making, but I am not happy with anything I am creating. It's driving me mad! lol So I have neglecting the blog once again. I apologize!

So nothing too exciting going on, as usual! Although I did have a great week, I was brought up on DST a lot and it made me feel sooo good! Sometimes I wonder why I spend all my time designing and then barely sell anything. Then I see that some people really love my designs and it makes it all worth it again. I hope someday I am truly successful at it, because my DH is trying SO hard to make me get a job outside the home. I really don't want to do that. I LOVE designing, and I LOVE being at home with my kids. The last thing I want is to get a job somewhere that I hate, and then be miserable and crabby 90% of the time. Know what I mean? Some people love their jobs, and with me... when I'm not learning something, I am bored out of my mind. I have a pattern with work, lol.. whenever I have started a job, I love it for the first couple weeks. I catch on super quick, then once I know how to do everything, I hate it. At that point I am so bored because I am not learning anymore, then I want to quit. lol I know that seems horrible, but that is sooo how it works with me.

Yeah, so Peyton has been very "independant" these days. Wants to put on her jammies by herself (which is hard enough for me, you know how those "footie" pajamas work) lol. Wanting to use a real fork instead of the plastic toddler forks, etc. The little stinker is just getting into the terrible two's I believe!!

It's snowing!

I swear the weather had me tricked into thinking it was time for Spring. It's Wisconsin, man! There's supposed to be inches upon inches (even feet) of snow before now! lol Even the bugs were confused! We had spiders in the back room of the house (sun room type of room, closed off of house). Dang spiders thought it was time to come out and play already, and now it's snowing like mad! Makes the kids happy though, since there has been literally two whole days with snow! lol It snowed and then melted like the next day. They both LOVE to play in the snow. Treyson was ready for school early today because he was so excited! lol Had his snowpants and full snow attire on and was ready to go when I came down to make my coffee! I sat Peyton in her booster seat at the table this morning with a pop tart and she kept saying "I play snow too!" because she thought Treyson was outside playing without her! lol

I had to work last night at the supper club. There was a party of 30 Postal workers in the back, but they drank on the bar side for a little while, then off to the back for the party. We had to make all their after dinner drinks, too! Guess how much I made off of that? A whopping $4. SICK. That is seriously SAD. I waited on them all myself for like 45 minutes before they went in for hors d'oeuvres and then dinner... then Deb and I made their after dinner drinks.. and we got a measley $4. Not to mention that Deb didn't wait on them pre-party, I did! Usually we get like $30... last night the waitress got $90... but $4?!? Ahhhhhhhh Whatever. lol Cheapies! :P
I don't think there's anything else exciting going on. Although since we have a Wii, a fun game comes out today, so I hope someplace around here gets it in so we can all play it tonight! lol If any of you out there are thinking about purchasing a Wii, I HIGHLY recommend it! Even my dad and my aunt played it when they were here on Saturday visiting! We had so much fun! Any video game that gets you off the couch and moving around (and possibly sweating if you keep playing) is worth it.

I am totally procrastinating right now. In fact that's what I have done all morning. I *should* be cleaning since my mom and step-dad are coming to visit for a little while today, but I don't want to! haha I made some new blinkies this morning though! So, yesterday I got an e-mail that my "Stacked Photo Actions" are going to be spotlighted on Dishin' the Digi- Coast 2 Coast show on DiScTalkRadio!! The show will run today through the 15th!! I listened to it this morning, I almost didn't really believe that they were going to talk about about the actions! lol They did, and they were so sweet. Go check it out, it's really a great show! Disc Talk Radio

I've got another kit sooo close to being ready! It's grungy-Red, Black and White. Kind of a Rock, Punk, Skater-ish look, but it will work for anything! Lots of sequins, stickers and some other cool elements! One of my awesome CT members, Lisa, asked if I would do this kit because it would work perfectly with her daughters' style! ;) With her input I came up with some very cool stuff! I can't wait to get it finished up and show it off!! So stay tuned for that! ;) I am hoping to have a little freebie to coordinate with it also, so I will definetly get that up here as soon as I have it all finished!!

Christmas was wonderful this year! I LOVE watching my kids open their gifts. Peyton is 21 months, so she was just the perfect age for the wide eyes, open mouth and giggles when finally getting those presents unwrapped! It seems I miss half of what Treyson opens though, because he tears through them all so fast! lol When we're at my dads on Christmas Day and the whole extended family is there, it's so hectic! I love it though, my family is just so wonderful! Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, all those days when EVERYONE is together, my heart is so happy. Then I look around and see that everyone else's heart is filled with happiness as well. You can see it in the eyes of my Daddy-O (yes, that's what I call my dad, lol). I wish I lived in my hometown still so I could be with them all more often. An hour away is still too far. I am so lucky to be so close with my family, and to have such a loving, open, supportive and fun group of people in my life. They are all so special to me, it almost brings tears to my eyes to think about it. I'm getting all sappy now, but I really believe that I have got to be one of the luckiest women ever. My life is filled with love. I hope that I make others feel like that, because it is just an awesome feeling!

I hope the start of the new year has been as good to all of you as it has been so far for me! Here's to a wonderful 2007!! *MUAH*

As many of you know, on December 24th, Plain Digital Wrapper as we know it will be closed! I will be moving along with Holly McCaig, KristyAnn Designs, Shannon Lee Designs, Kimberly Geswein and Nancy Comelab over to My Digital Muse! The store there will be opening it's doors on December 26th!! So if you purchase anything from Plain Digital Wrapper before the 24th, make sure you download it all RIGHT AWAY! If you are one of those that likes to wait a little bit before you download, make sure that is not the case this time! ;)

So... other than that, things have finally slowed down for a little bit for me! I have my store all set up for the move, 98% of the gifts purchased (all that's left are stocking stuffers and gas cards), and my house is nice and clean! lol We are doing Christmas cookies tonight, and when the kids are in bed I need to start wrapping! I haven't gotten one thing wrapped yet, I don't know why I always wait til the last minute! Santa makes a special trip to our house a day early, because we aren't home on Christmas morning (and Santa can't possibly haul all his gifts to my Dad's for Christmas, lol). That starts the whirlwind of festivities!!

Check out this schedule:

Christmas Eve morning is Santa and mommy/daddy gifts for the kids.
Then we get all packed up and drive 60 miles to my hometown in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
We go to my Gramma Shirleys' for an hour or so...
then off to my moms for ham dinner and there the kids open their gifts from my mom's side of the family.
Then back to Gramma Shirleys and leave the kids with my dad and step-mom...
DH, my sister and I all go BACK to my moms for all of our gifts from my mom and step-dad...
At MIDNIGHT (ugh, yes, midnight) DH, me, my sister, her boyfriend, my mom (my step-dad when he's home.. but not this year, he's a pilot) go over to my Gramma Gert's for gifts with them. (The kids got their gifts earlier because midnight is way too late for them) and we don't usually get back to my dad's until 4 am-ish!!
Wake up when the kids all get up EARLY, like 7-ish for Santa gifts at my dad's (I have younger brothers and sisters aged, 6, 8, & 12)
So right now, myself, DH, my sister and Bob (sister's boyfriend) are all running on maybe 3 hours of sleep...
Then my dad's whole side of the family (LARGE family) comes over around 3-ish for Christmas dinner and yet more gifts...
After the dinner and gifts, we have to attempt to pack everything into the car (which never happens, we always have to leave things and go back another time to get it) and drive back home to Marinette to get to DH's parents house around 8-9pm for MORE gifts!
After that, we are too pooped to move! lol

Isn't that just craziness?? Every Christmas DH and I are in bed soooo early because we are just beat. It's the midnight til 4 am thing that kills us. They won't change it either... grrrrrr!

Ok, I rambled too much! lol Off to get the little one cleaned up so she can have a snack!!

Whew!! I am soooo busy!!

I don't know what the heck the deal is, but I can't keep up with life right now! It's kicking me right in the behind! It is December 9th and we still haven't purchased even ONE Christmas present! I have so much to do to get ready for my move from Plain Digital Wrapper to My Digital Muse (store opening December 26th, but the forums and stuff are all up, check it out!), the house is driving me insane. I just folded like 5 loads of laundry, did the dishes, cleaned the dining room (except vacuuming because Peyton is napping). Last week the ceiling started peeling. How weird is that, right? Apparently there was wallpaper on the ceiling when the house was built, then it was painted over like 3 times... so now the wallpaper is "un-sticking" and peeling off! OMG! How dumb, really. Just one more problem to add to my list! :(

So... yeah, it feels good just to SIT here!
On the bright side of things, I put a few new things in the store this past week!

Yesterday was a nice little break from the computer. The kids and I sat around and watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and ate ice cream, then Treyson FINALLY lost his first tooth! He turned 7 in June, so he was getting really upset that he was like the only kid in 2nd grade that hadn't lost a tooth! He can't wait to go to school tomorrow and show everyone!

Oh, I just have to say that I hate daylight savings time. It doesn't feel like 9 am to me!

Not sure how I added an extra "/" after the http:,

Wanted to address the music on my page, as many people have commented on it!

I have an actual "player" on my page. Scroll down a little and on the right hand side there is a music player. It plays a random song when you come on, which is why it is different from on time to the next. It also gives the artist and name of song! So for those of you who have asked what song I had playing, my answer is "I don't know what you were hearing" because I have a bunch of songs in there! haha

Also, If you don't like the tunes...

There is a stop button, and a pause button on the player! :)

*I deleted the song with the F word too*

Sorry if I offended anyone, I didn't realize it was there!

up, but it's a larger one than normal and it's taking forever to upload!

So don't think I forgot about you!

Besides that, the guy from the heating/cooling place is here

because there is something wrong with our furnace.

It keeps re-lighting the pilot light over and over and it makes

this banging sound. So it sounds like someone is playing

drums in our basement. I think DH thought I was

crazy when I told him that was what was wrong with the

furnace. It's been doing it for 3 days, and he was down

there a bunch of times trying to figure it out, and my

FIL was down there trying to figure it out...

then I go down and figure it our right away! haha

Anyway, it's uploading... so it should be up SOON!

Thanks for the well wishes yesterday, everyone! I'm still sick, Peyton is still a little, and then we have DH, who is the worst one! lol (You know how men are when they're sick! Whiney buns!) My son is actually up at camp with grampa and his uncles, and feeling fine! So at least one of us is good!

So I got off the couch yesterday just long enough to get a few papers done, and here they are! Some "Painted Chipboard"! Also a chipboard "mosaic" overlay! Looks cute with the papers!

I hope you like it! I would have done more with it, but the couch was calling my name! ;) *HUGS* Can't wait to hear what you all think!
